Today is Memorial Day in the US where we commemorate those lost in wars and those we are close to who have passed on.
It is a sad day when we have had people we are close to that are no longer here. Tears will not bring them back but tears come anyway.
To all who have had to say goodbye to someone, I extend my sympathy and share in your sorrow.  Hugs to you all.
