I was dx with a progressive neurological condition I didn't have as they looked for a single reason for multiple symptoms.


I spent a few years believing I was going to end up unable to do anything.


Quite by chance I read about neuroplasticity of the brain and a guy who taught himself to walk again by going back to basics and learning to crawl first.



This triggered out 'little's who progressed onto walking but the adult self still could barely take steps without crutches particuarly in front of others.



Eventually I worked out from online research that some of it was connected to autism and childhood 'medical trauma' and dissociation with some alter states being disconnected from some parts of the brain. It explained a lot for me.



I still have mobility issues as unfortunately I did end up inheriting arthritis even though the dx back in my 30's was wrong but spent years in a wheelchair when I didn't need to be
