I am so sorry for your current struggles. I don't think that you made a mistake. I am surprised that your T who is also your psychiatrist would allow your meds to lapse, without contacting you that a break would mean that he would not be prescribing your medications as well. I also find it strange that he did not respond to your email. You have agency. You have the right to take a break from therapy. He should not take it personally. I am sorry about the medication issue. I don't know what to suggest because it sounds as though you have exhausted your options. Perhaps you could go to the office and see if you can make an appointment for meds only?
