I used to go through something similar all the time, but now I am basically all alone and so that is one less burden for me. I remember those times though. My memories are vivid and painful. Those were heavy burdens to carry although being alone is also a burden. My heart goes to you! People who do not go through similar experiences seem unable to empathize at any kind of deep level. Since they only see things from the outside, having never experienced them, it is almost as though they are blind to the distress that one suffers.
