I, too, am sorry you are dealing with this. I am wary of organizations that call themselves a "family".

Do you have a supervisor you can approach to talk about wanting more responsibility? I think if you don't mention that work is being taken away from you and frame it in terms of wanting to do more, perhaps that approach may work?
