I'm sorry all your friends are going off on holiday and you're not, that would upset me too. And I'm sorry about your less than great living situation. But I totally support you in wanting to go to college and only work part time. Even though it sucks that you don't have much money now, getting an education is so worthwhile because it really does pay off in better jobs in the long run. Hang in there and remember that the short term sacrifice is worth it.
