I have no idea what the law is outside of California, but the law here is that a psychiatrist must provide a patient with 3 months of medication if they terminate the patient or if the patient has a change in insurance.
Do you know of any such law where you live?
My other suggestion is that you set up an appointment right away with a new pdoc.
