I have definately gone thru the drug gamut.... I have tried quite
a few anti-depressants some that have not worked at all, and
side effects were too much. Some such as Wellbutrin that
worked for close to 8 months and then my system just got
too used to it and it stopped working alltogether.
Desipramine my doctor decided to try , even though he told
me it isn't used a lot anymore, I have been on it now for
close to 4 or 5 months. It actually has been working quite well,along with the seroquel...
I saw the doctor the other day and actually he and I discussed adding flexeril, since I do suffer from CFS and
have problems with my muscles in my neck and shoulders.
So I am taking half a flexeril now with 100 mg of Trazadone
and Finally Got A Night of Sleep. Now I just need a couple
of days that I can catch up on my sleep as I have had
too many early morning's lately. But at least I slept , he reminded me that depression can flare back up when you aren't feeling well, and are layed up, not too mention lack of
sleep,and chronic pain which has returned in my neck and
shoulders.
So We will try Desipramine for a while longer he will keep me
on 4 in am and have my Serum levels checked.
