I have few enough brain cells, i dont need to lost more to that type of judgemental (spelling) nonsense
the only reality show i watch for the entertainment value is The Apprentice (UK) cause they are supposed to be the smartest people running businesses and wanting to work for Alan Sugar in the UK
Yet they make stupid decisions a lot, for example one series (I forget which, would have to look it up) they had to make christmas chocolates, one of the teams chose to do a woman elf on their packaging dressed up like a tart (and i am not meaning jam tarts) and made it look like she was trying to flirt with Santa (or something) then insisted that none of it was meant to be sexual ......... oh and they litterally put the word "seduction" on the packaging ???????

The shows @
Mountaindewed is referring to are shows about alternative lifestyles, I think. Drag Race is about drag queens. They aren't like the ones you watch, I don't think.
🤣Listen to me, someone who hates reality TV trying to have an intelligent conversation about it. 🤣
However, I live an alternative lifestyle myself and those of us who do live it don't choose it but some in society believe we do.
I think it's because of societal attitudes that people can sometimes be triggered by some shows even though they haven't experienced what is being depicted. Perhaps they see something that reminds them of something they are repressing?
That's the best I can come up with. I repressed my true self for decades.
