Had to share this funny moment: Saw Dr. T earlier than usual today, as I'm heading to the beach later. We somehow got on the topic of H being a foot taller than me (he's 6'3"), and then Dr. T was talking about how as he's gotten older, he's realized more advantages to being fairly short (he's 5'7" maybe?) How he finds clothing fits him well, that he's exactly the size designers want to make clothing for.

Then, he said: "I'm the perfect compromise between a man and a woman." I just burst out laughing. Then said, "Sorry!" and started laughing again. I said, "It's like a tagline: 'Dr. T: The perfect compromise between a man and a woman.'" [more laughing]. He was smiling and said, "I only meant in the sense of clothing sizing." Me: "I know! Sorry, I've been under a lot of stress lately, and I think I needed this laugh."
(Please note that I knew what he meant and never would have laughed if I had any possible thought that it was an actual gender identity issue for him. It occurred to me after I posted this how it could potentially be perceived that way, so I just wanted to clarify.)
