Also remember that some of us are generally quiet (See: myself) but usually if I don't say hi its because I have multiple windows open and am browsing something else on the internet. A lot of people don't use the away button either when they go afk which makes things difficult. I think the chat is generally good though, takes some getting used to but I always say hi whenever I can
