Wow, you do not want IBS.

I was told i had "atypical" gallbladder issues. The drs never offered any solutions, just the usual "lose weight."

I used to use pepto-bismol tablets a lot. Then a decade later my pdoc told me to take Tagamet when my stomach hurt from not eating when he put me on Topamax. I was like, how can i lose weight (taking topamax) when i have to eat to stop my stomach from hurting? He said, take Tagamet, like he was surprised i didnt already know about it. Its not like the other things like Pepcid where you have to take it every day - you only take it when you need it.

The other thing i would advise from your posts today is, if you think you have gallbladder issues - which you may, from your history of losing weight - thats when it started for me, after losing 40 lbs on topamax, you need to be careful with fatty foods. The cheese quesadilla was probably what caused your pain. Things get sludgy and or literally stopped up in the bile ducts. Like a stuck lid on a bottle of Dawn. Bile breaks up fat like Dawn does, but not if it cant get to the fat. Gallstones plug the bile ducts and bang you feel yucky.

Pepto bismol i dont think handles that, Tagamet does.

I go on kicks where i eat boxes of bran flakes and soy milk (you might want almond milk), trying to flush things out. And Ezekiel bread toasted vegan-cheese sandwiches. Just keeping it simple. I would recommend you find something simple and plain like that. Or the BRAT diet - bananas, rice, applesauce and toast? Then add back things gradually. Pref fruit and veg.

I dont even THINK about eating pizza anymore, because honestly just the thought of it makes me nauseated.

I hope you can nip this disease process, whatever it is, in the butt before it gets worse!
