Then go volunteer as a CASA - Court Appointed Special Advocate or GAL - Guardian ad Litem - for foster kids. In Florida I was a GAL, here I'm a CASA. There are never enough and these kids need us now. I promise you it's the toughest job you'll ever love and you'll love yourself for doing it. I've managed to get a dozen kids adopted in the last 20 years and I still play with some of them.
