My new diet, adjusted for starting insulin a couple of weeks ago, appears to be working. After my weight went up a couple of lbs at first, it is now on the way back down again. Yay! I.e., lost the gain and another good half pound.
Im basically doing two regular meals plus a mini meal.
Breakfast is coffee, a can of fish (tuna or salmon), and 1 or 2 toasted plain crumpets, depending on how hungry i am, which depends on the previous day.
Main meal is rice or beans or lentils, probably veg, maybe a low carb tortilla (if no rice).
Mini meal is fruit or veg, or a nutrisystem shake, or a can of chicken with hummus on a tortilla, again depending on how hungry i am.
Im ready for my main meal for today. I did my exercycle for a good while this afternoon. I can already tell an improvement in my aerobic capacity. I mean i still get winded going to take out the garbage, but its a better winded, not an "im dying" winded!
