Get back to things slowly and steadily. Don't jump back into crazy work weeks if that's where you were at before the episode. Maybe keep a mood journal or use an app to track your mood changes so that you catch an episode before it turns gnarly and your treatment team can get involved and hopefully nip it in the bud.

It's scary right now, but it's kinda like a car crash in that you're terrified to drive the car after the fact but after a while you build the confidence back. And you learn from the experience, like what your warning signs are and how your pdoc responds to a crisis and such.
