I understand the scariness of telling. Often we are programmed to keep secrets and so telling anyone, even a trusted counselor/therapist/etc goes against everything we were trained to do. Just do your best. Your therapist will understand. As far as other parts of you, perhaps self talk that you are safe now will help and self sooth afterward if you can.
