There's a possibility they may change their minds. During all of my 20s, the thought of having children really frightened me. This was mostly due to cynical thoughts of the world and my own childhood/adolescence. Earlier this year I've sort of had a change of heart and now feel like when I find the right person, I'd like to have children and also thinking about adopting.
