I haven't watched any Bridgerton. I did watch Downton Abbey with my Mom because she really enjoyed it. It was a bit too soppy for me but it was something we could do together.
Lately, I have been enjoying Sister Boniface and Murder in Provance on Britbox.
Edit: I've seen lots of Facebook posts where people are complaining about Murder in Provance because the British Actors are not speaking with a French Accent even though it takes place in France and they have French names (so it's not like they are British ex-pats or something). Well, if one is going to be picky about it, then wouldn't one complain that they aren't speaking in French when it takes place in France? It is just a light, entertaining who-done-it with Nancy Carroll (Lady Felicia in Father Brown) and Roger Allum (I don't know what he is in but a lot of people seem to like him as an actor). So far they only made three episodes. I have watched these three episodes multiple times. I really like the second episode the best.
