Can you please update everyone re the court date stuff for me?

He was found guilty but had already served his sentence time on remand so he was released. The court granted me a restraining order with powers of arrest. That means if he breaks it even once he gets an automatic 5 year jail sentence with no trial, bail, appeals etc.

The police have also installed a panic button in my house but don't want me at home for the first few days as they are seriously convinced that he WILL break the order and they are worried about response times. Like they said it only takes 30 seconds to break a window or throw a petrol bomb through the door and they can't get necessarily get there that quick.

Please could you say a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to everyone who has helped and supported me through this...and hopefully I should be back home and online again tomorrow or the day after. Meantime, as I didn't want emergency accommodation from the police...I'm at a friends where he doesn't know the location but the police are constantly checking on me anyway, so I am safe.
