Okay, I admit it: I missed my calling, I should have been a meteorologist.  Indulge me while I vent about the heat.
108 today.
113 tomorrow.
114 on Wednesday.
Miserable temperatures - and sad, because I know it's due to climate change. Our wonderful governor (and a handsome man, too  ), Gavin Newsom, has had legislation passed that will outlaw the sale of gas-run cars by 2035.
I'm going to take a shower, then I have to venture out to the grocery store. I cannot put it off any longer. I'm anxious because I'm afraid of feeling terrible from the heat. And somehow I have to find a way to get the large amount of recycling I have to the bin downstairs. Some of it I will drop over the banister (I call out before I throw the stuff over so I don't hit anyone below).
Well, here goes. Wish me luck.
