For years I had no credit. I was homeless and had nothing. When I got SSDI I had to open a checking account. After years of that I got a debt card and then my bank gave me a credit card. I’ve always paid it back in full because I never get anything I can’t afford to pay back. It’s taken years to get my credit history but I live frugally. There’s a lot I go without.
