Hi gibbo101, I have been taking antabuse for 2 and 1/2 years. I have not had a drink in that entire time. I think antabuse is great--for the right type of person. It has helped me a great deal and is an important part of my recovery program. However, if you really think you would drink just to test it, then maybe antabuse is not right for you. I had to really, truly be committed to staying sober before I started the antabuse.
