I so wish I could help you. The only time I've dealt with a car dealership was 20 years ago and my father-in-law was buying the car for us. And even though it was a Ford it turned out to be a terrific little car

I do remember having to decide between a sedan and the cute Ford and being very nervous because David and his dad wanted to choose the sedan. And the dealership guy was right there...it wasn't an easy experience, but it worked out well.

Maybe while you're at the dealership envision yourself as a tree-person with roots that extend deep into the ground and hold you solid, firm, and sure.

I think it's excellent to have a support person with you (if that person is truly supportive).
