Dewed - a couple of things about muscle.
If you have a long muscle belly, you will have (or build) bigger muscles. Look at your calf muscle - where it ends. Is it halfway down your leg, close to your ankle, or closer to your knee? If it is close to your ankle, ie past the halfway point, that is a long muscle belly.6
The other thing is, are you large or small boned? Measure your wrist. I think 7 is the middle measurement. More than that and you are large boned.
Also, it takes a few days at least to show muscle growth. All that happens in the first few days is tearing down - due to the stress of weight lifting. It usually causes water gain.
You want to have some protein after a session to give your body direct quick access to protein. Thats what they say. But it takes hours to digest, so idk. Maybe thats part of the hours or days long it takes to heal muscle. Unless you are doing very light weights, they also say to lift weights only every other day. Altho abs can be worked on every day. Antonio Sabato Jr does 300 crunches every day! And boy it shows!
