Hi DayNight
Your diagram reminds me of something T said once a long time ago about Emotional mind and Rational mind (She got it from DBT, I think. I remember we tried to do some DBT type stuff in the very beginning, but it did not work for me due to the severe dissociation from DID).

From what I remember though, the emotional mind wants to do all those fun things, lighten up, have fun, etc (sometimes to the detriment of self). The rational mind on the other hand is rigid in thinking, a rule follower, perfectionist, unable to think about fun because it's always thinking about the consequences.

In between those two places, where ultimately a body wants to be, is something she called a wise mind, which is a balance between those other two places in our minds. That's the place where we can have fun, be adventurous but not to the degree that is detrimental to self.

In fact we are both both (rational and emotional), but perhaps depending on the situation, we lean toward one side or the other. The goal would be to balance between the two (wise mind) I think in order to maybe have a little more peace and harmony.

It was a very long time that T talked about this so someone else might have a better understanding of this all.

Hope that helped a little. Best of luck trying to figure things out.
