jumpinggrasshopper, I also struggle with obsessive repetitive thoughts that cause me a lot of anxiety. My meds, mainly abilify, really help. Also, I have found that calming my mind through meditation helps dispel some of the anxiety. Another thing I do is pay attention to the thoughts--set a time limit and write about them--they cry out for attention, so I give it to them. When the time limit is up, I try to move on to other things. Maybe writing about them gets them out of my system or something.
