I had a really good time with my son over the last 2 days. I took him with me to a party on Saturday and then we played pickle-ball on Sunday. It was just a fun time - I'm not sure how to describe it except that we got along well and just enjoyed ourselves.

I wait with him for the school bus in the mornings, too - and he has come up with some interesting topics of conversation lately.
