I think life is just more than a game of pool. It's a game of practice and perseverance. You not only need to picture the ball in the pocket but acquire all the knowledge necessary to get it there.

The goal of the game may be to run the table but it will take a lot more that just visualizing the out come for your goal to be achieved.

I can picture myself hitting the ball into the pocket. But I must also know where the cue must hit the ball (high, left, low, right, center on) and with what force (too much or too little) to achieve my goal. That is the part that takes practice, practice, practice
