I’m a 90s kid too… born in the 80s. I think the 90s were a good era… we got to avoid the height of the internet and social media and mobile phones but we still got to experience them towards the end of the 90s.

I remember after school spending nights on the landline (the old phones connected to the wall sockets) with a huge extension cord so I could take it to my bedroom and talking to my friends for hours. We’d been at school together all day but still had so much to talk about. Those were good days!

And going to the fish and chip shop after school and getting hot chips with vinegar on them and sharing them with our friends. Only cost $2 for a big bag and we’d all sit on the grass eating them.

Lots of good memories! I don’t remember much of the 80s but the 90s is where I did my growing up.

I’m glad I didn’t grow up in the age of social media and smart phones!
