My son and DIL were just in Georgia (the country) for 2 weeks. He said that Russians are generally disliked in Georgia because they take advantage of the lower prices in Georgia by bargaining to pay less for higher quality, and that Russians look down on Georgians and mistreat them, which of course, Georgians resent.

Oh wow. What were they doing there? It’s not a common place to visit or vacation at. My daughter and son in law went there for vacation right before the pandemics.
It’s an interesting observation. In general Georgians are pretty tolerant despite being hot natured. It was probably the only republic in the USSR that didn’t have much or any of anti semitism, which was rampant everywhere else
