It seems to me that the joke my partner had is too much. What do you think?

As my nieces and nephew are in another city. The thing is I contact them on a video call and suddenly my partner appeared with a mask and a knife and pretended stabbing me. I think it’s too much for kids. At least, for the younger ones.

Maybe it’s a better idea to do it with adults relatives or doing a softer performance. Ideas?
