Great question! I can certainly see dry mouth being a factor. I don't think it's been an issue for me, but my bipolar disorder has affected my teeth in the form of daytime bruxism. I used to (and sometimes still do) grind and clench my teeth so severely that it wore them down, and think caused a chip or two. My two front teeth were so damaged that I needed root canals in both. The endodontist said they are worn down as much as many 70 year olds'. I was not yet even 50 when she said that. Currently I need a rear molar worked on because of a chip. Oh, how bipolar affects us in many ways!
Do you have any kind of phobia (very very minor to much more significant)?
