A guy likes ME! ME?!!?

I'm 21, almost 22. I've had one guy who liked me, but he was creepy/controlling. I've liked guys in the past, but it wasn't reciprocated (no big deal).

But a guy likes ME!! And he's pretty darn nice.

He works as a barista at a local coffee shop. He's (almost) 23, and I really think I could potentially like him a whole bunch (I already love his personality... and no, this isn't a crush... I've gotten to know him over the past year while he's been working there).

He called me cute and beautiful in one night! ... and then he blushed and said he'd never told a woman that before. (Awwwwwww )

Okay... I'm totally acting like a kid here. But I can't help it. He's cute. I love his personality... he reminds me of a big teddy bear (also has to do with his looks too).

He's asked me to come see him more often... so I told him I'd try to go see him at least once a week during the summer... if it goes well this week, I'm totally asking for his email or phone number (too forward? Maybe... but I'll be darned if I'm not going to give this a chance!)

Yes, I'll be careful. I always am. No sex either... and no funny business, and if he meets my guy friends and they get a bad vibe (and they're good and I trust them to look out for me) ... then it's over...

Is it bad that this totally made my night, and definetely gave my self-esteem a boost (which has been lacking lately... I'm not the prettiest girl out there...)???
