I really REALLY hope I'm not about to add COVID to the list of my troubles. I woke up feeling hoarse and achy, but didn't think much of it. I talk people's ears off with sales and I always wake up with some sort of ache and pain. I took appropriate medicinal measures (Aleve and cough drops), but it got worse, namely with the addition of loss of taste to my list of symptoms. Loss of taste isn't necessarily COVID, but it's not "not COVID" either. I left work early, went to the doc who gave me the swab up the nose test. I learn the results first thing in the morning. Here's hoping it's negative. Quarantine sounds like no fun!
