Have you ever made a friend in IP that lasted outside the hospital?

Some definitely no, a couple sorta yes, but one of that couple more so. As for the latter, one guy was more met in a partial hospital outpatient. I socialized with him into the future at AA. Also, he worked at the local grocery store where I saw him weekly. When I visited the US in April, I saw him again, but we don't keep in touch now. Another had too severe of alcoholism to continue the friendship. He grew too amorous, as well. As for one that ended very badly, she did something that made me fear for my husband's well-being because of a lie. That's a major no-no in my book, plus I was also still very unwell with bipolar. I pretty much scared her away from the IOP. When ill, I can get rather scary, unfortunately. To boot, she stole something from me.
Is there anything shareable you'd want a "redo" on in life?
