3 1/2 hours is a long time, that's for sure.
Mannn, I'm not sure, but....so the dude in the truck stop was just a random guy? And he said he'd meet you in some location where you were all alone? It's nice that maybe where you live you can trust a stranger. Where I live it's pretty much likely that the only person who would offer to come out to some random place and fix my tire would be a serial killer. I have roadside assistance (towing service) and I use it.
