I too never got any comfort.And I can't complain as I cried myself to sleep in my bed after all lights were off.In the morning every one wakes up,as if nothing happened the previous day,out and about and maintains the facade of a perfect family and that includes me too.So I don't think I can complain now.Hugs to you all abuse survivors.
