Thats why I said in my post some communitys have the teeth rule and others don't. Not all Amish do it. If you have ever seen the show Breaking Amish there is a few episodes storyline where 2 girls are freaking out because another girl "doesn't have teeth." Her teeth were pulled for religious reasons.
I'm sorry if it seemed like I was lumping them all together.
