Today's magic word is laundry  ...after I take a shower, that is. The Malibu hair treatment was a bust. Not sure what it was supposed to do, but what it did for me was make my hair dry and rough. A brighter blonde? Maybe. But I'm going to do some major conditioning today.
I love birch trees. The house in which I grew up had a trio of tall, thick birch trees growing to the left of the walkway from the front door. Birch tree bark is so unusual. When I was a little kid I thought it was paper.
