I don't have a DSM5 but the 4th edition said that you couldn't diagnose things if the symptoms were better accounted for by addiction. I'm sure that remains in the DSM and so it's not possible for someone to diagnose you right now.
I think the best thing you can do (and it's hard) is to focus on the DBT and how well you are doing the last weeks (month? I don't have a good sense of time) managing everything and see that you are making progress. That's the important thing regardless of diagnosis.
