I have PTSD and big fears of really mundane stuff. One of the things I'm afraid of is movie theaters.
Today, a friend and I took our boys to the movies. I told T I was going and I was afraid. And he told me that when the scary thoughts come up to just let them pass through my mind. To not grab hold of them. And I tried it, and to my surprise, it actually worked.
I wonder if that would work for you? Actually, I wonder if that would even work for ME again

But it was nice that it helped today.
