I was having a case of feeling sorry for myself for not having anyone to spend the day with. Had a serious talk with myself and decided my plan for the day is to watch the parade with the sound off (I HATE all the happy talk), then the dog show. Going to follow that with a movie marathon on the DVD player. In previous years I've been cranky abot having to go some place for the day. Told myself I can't have it both ways to get over myself and figure out how to make it a day I can enjoy.
