I navigate the site on my android phone as follows:

First i hit "my profile" to get the list of threads i subscribe to that have new responses.

After i read each of those. I hit "new posts".

One tip i have is to go INTO my profile, edit options, and choose / exclude the forums i want to see on my lists. Be sure to hit the save button at the bottom before exiting.

And thus i am in and out quite efficiently.
