I've used them interchangeably, and it depends on whether I think of changing the case. I've forgotten it can mean lots of love too, but of course it depends on the context. I think, in general on the ‘net, the case doesn’t specify the meaning, but rather the context does (as you mentioned). This is just something my family came up with. Maybe it’ll go viral from our posts here! lol
