I hope you can get back to sleep. Dreams causing panic super suck, I know.
One thing that I try to do to calm enough to (hopefully) get back to sleep is to sing songs to myself. I know that sounds weird, but (sometimes), it works. I guess because it focuses my mind on something other than the content of and reaction to the dream. Any song. All songs. It takes a bit of time, but it’s something that isn’t panic.
