I have a diagnosed mental illness (one or more; I've never seen the official paperwork). Consequently I and those around me are ... challenged ... in ways they might not otherwise be.

In my experience the numerous medicos I've encountered fall broadly into two groups (this is probably oversimplified): 1) those whose budgets are strained by my existence, and 2) those whose budgets are justified and even enhanced by my existence.
With a few exceptions, both groups have been polite to me. I speculate what they say behind my back, however, varies.

mastered the "fetch" command. He would communicate he wanted something, and I would fetch it.
