My state does 96 hour holds (excluding weekends and holidays), so unless I "schedule" my mental health crisis for a Monday or Tuesday, I'm there a good week. Possibly more. The one time I was 96ed, both weekends and holidays came into play, making my stay nearly 10 days, long after my symptoms abated.

If I need to go IP, I typically go voluntarily as well just because that visit was a waste of time and money. I was in a much better state three days in (could realistically have left after five), but still had to stay the extra week and get billed for it.
