I have only been put on a hold once and that was after I had just got out of 30 days of inpatient then right when I got home I tried to commit suicide. Well they messed up the hold pappers and I was taken off of the hold the very next morning but my doctor told me if I tried to leave he would put me on a hold again. Our holds go through the court systems here and you have judges and everything they are the ones other then the doctors that can send you to the state hospital.
