Oh, no I was wrong. I thought from the message that the Mayo put on my portal they decided against the antivirals. But no they just sent my info to a specialist. She called me a while ago and ruled out the more effective medication because I’m on an AP and it’s counter indicated. This one is less effective but still better than nothing. But holy molely I’ve got to take 4 pills at once twice a day for 5 days. I really hope my loss of hearing is just temporary. I can baby hear as it is. I’ve googled hearing loss and it is a rare side effect usually temporarily.
