50% seems high to me, maybe the sample test I had earlier this year was different but the cancer rate for positive tests was much lower. You’re doing the right thing getting checked out.
As for pain, I did feel the camera going around a few corners but it was a brief crampy twinge, nothing comparable to childbirth for example.
